Waiting a decade to be innocent

Watch the clip.

It's a day Cory Maye has waited nearly a decade for—the day he can wrap his arms around his kids without bars or four-inch-thick bulletproof glass between them. Arrested on capital murder charges in 2001 after fatally shooting Prentiss Police Officer Ron Jones, Jr., Maye said the officers failed to knock or identify themselves when they broke down his door and that he fired to protect his infant daughter. Maye spent nine and a half years in jail, three of them on death row, before appealing and overturning the guilty verdict, accepting a plea and walking free on July 25, 2011.

How would you feel in the same situation as Cory Maye?
